It focuses on the point at which the pen and thread begin to merge. I am interested in the differences between drawing and hand stitch as well as the similarities. Pen or pencil on paper can only ever lie on the surface, whereas a stitched line is integral to the fabric, running in and out as a continuous thread. This results in marks on both the front and back of the work. enjoy. news
